Commercial vape & THC detectionCatch vaping where cameras can’t go.

OMNI Sentinel is a wireless vape detector that recognizes vaping, THC aerosol and smoking in restrooms, guest rooms, apartments and stairwells, then sends an alert to the right person’s phone with the exact room. No cameras. No audio recording.

How it works

From the first puff to the right person.

Reads the air continuously

Sentinel watches particulates (PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10), VOCs and humidity together to recognize the pattern vaping, THC aerosol and smoke leave behind, not just a single reading.

Alerts in real time

When it sees a vape or smoke event, it sends an alert by text, email and the OMNI Cloud dashboard, naming the device and room so staff can respond while it’s still happening.

Keeps a record

Every event is logged with time and location, so you can see patterns by room and time of day and back up policy enforcement, cleaning fees or discipline with objective data.

Why OMNI

More than a vape alarm.

Sentinel

No cameras, no recording

Built for the private spaces where video doesn’t belong: restrooms, locker rooms, guest rooms and residences.

Sentinel

Tamper & offline alerts

Get notified if a unit is covered, moved or unplugged. Tamper-resistant enclosures are available for high-risk spots.

Sentinel

Air quality included

The same device reports CO₂, VOCs, particulates, temperature and humidity, so you get indoor air quality monitoring at no extra hardware cost.

Sentinel Plus

Add active-threat detection

Step up to Sentinel Plus for gunshot and glass-break detection and wearable panic buttons with live location in the same unit.

FAQ

Vape detector questions

What does a vape detector detect?

OMNI Sentinel detects the aerosol from vaping, including nicotine and THC vapes, as well as cigarette and marijuana smoke. It reads particulates, VOCs and humidity together to recognize the pattern of a vaping or smoking event.

Can it detect THC vaping?

Yes. Smoke, vape and THC aerosol detection is standard on every Sentinel.

Will steam, hairspray or cooking set it off?

Sentinel looks at several readings together, and you control the alert thresholds, which keeps false alarms down. Heavy cooking smoke can occasionally trigger alerts, so we don’t recommend installing units in kitchens.

How many vape detectors do I need?

One Sentinel is designed to cover its immediate area, roughly 500 to 600 square feet. Larger restrooms or rooms may need more than one. We confirm placement during a site survey, or you can estimate with our coverage planner.

Does it record audio or video?

No. Sentinel has no camera and does not record audio, which is why it can be installed in restrooms, locker rooms, guest rooms and residences.

What happens if someone tampers with it?

The dashboard shows when a device stops reporting, and you can turn on tamper and offline alerts so you’re notified right away.
